April 23 sees the return of one of our favourite DJs - Auxiliary from the Nutshell breaks crew in Newcastle. Expect nothing less than the freshest, most ball busting tunes flying around at the moment. Also inside we have Jamie Doom comin down to give BUMP some electrohouse flavours BangGang styleee! Outside we have a special guest all the way from Byron Bay, the much respected Noodles who is gunna funk it up with o.g breaks, hip hop and dancehall. Also Mr Pez is set to tear it up with a rippa breakz set inside.

New Zealand's biggest breaks dj and producer - Timmy Schumacher who is set to blast the inside area at bump with an explosive bottom heavy set. Timmy is widely recognised all over the globe as one of the best breaks maestros in the southern hemisphere! The usuaul suspects Jouzi, Strut and Defcon 1 will be backing up with guests Bentley and Louis Lightfoot - who opened Feb BUMP inside with a wicked funk set.

Outside we have the whole Ghetto Fabulous/Players Ball entourage from Melbourne- Ms Butt, Bass Bin Laden and Tom Tom. Anyone who knows Melbourne's hip-hop scene will be familiar with this crew who jam venues week in week out. Expect dirty, grindin hip hop Melbourne style!! Residents Triptrix, Jonah and mcs Kween G and Janny will be doin the biz as usual.

Sat 7pm - late. As always BUMP is held at the glorious Abercrombie Hotel (cnr Broadway & Abercrombie st) which is awaiting wit cheap drinx and $9.50 jugs aplenty. BUMP starts at 7pm with chilled reggae and hip hop flavas and goes till late. This time around, after last months manufacturing debacle, we will defintely be giving away BUMP mix cd's to the first 150 punters through the door. Inside in the electro breaks arena this month we have Hook n' Sling who is one of Austalias rising breakbeat exports. He's just had some fat trax released on Hussle n' Bustle and Guerilla tactics. Inside is gunna thump wit funk. Defcon1, back from tour in NZ, has a bag of new tunes to unleash and J&S are just itchin to give it a 4 dex funkified assualt. Bumps first international guest DJ- Smash FX from respected Swedish techy breaks label Ritmic records graces the Bump stage this month. A veteran of the breaks scene woldwide he is a well respected producer and DJ. He will rp it up!!

We have bumped (whoops) up to 2 systems now. Outside- starting early- is jiggy hip hop, dacehall, dub and reggae brought to you by Jonah, Triptrix, Fangle and Gonzo and a load of mcs. Inside- starting later bringing you the harder beats are guest triple 6, Strut, Defcon 1 and, of course, Smash FX.

Bump drinks have been added to the menu at the bar. Yes, they're red, cheap and strong.
