at Big Day Out
A
few days prior BUMP DJ's, all four of us - DJ's
Jouzi, Strut, Defcon 1 and DJ Jonah were stoked to play the lillypad
stage at BIg Day Out. Aside from the table full of empty beer
cans left afterwards a serious mash up was had by all - with electro
ghetto tech bein the flava that could sum up such fun. Thanks to Defcon
1 who pulled out sum of the finest 80's ghetto shit i've heard including
some egyptian electro cuts - ouch!!!

at LOST BAGGAGE...
Back
again this month at Lost Baggage we have a huge international
special guest who we can not reveal. However they are English
electronic veterans that you will love to see!
The
big bottom heavy hijack sound system is back this month along
with the two dodgy russians on visuals, plus the mad decked out
decor in our all-carpeted room.
Headlining
on the night for us in the BUMP lounge is Aril Brikha. If you
know good minimal/tech house, you will recognise just how important
Kompact and Pokerflat have been in shaping the sound we love today.
Aril Brikha has his feet firmly cemented in these great labels.
Expect the best!!!!
This
months' Lost Baggage will be a Bollywood affair. Get your sari
on. Crack out the jewelry. Gold and bright colours are essential!!!
Singing and dancing routines will be applauded......

Bump
DJs have been writing prolifically in their studio, expect tunes
out soon. Minimal techno. Will keep posting and by May will have
new tunes as samples on this site. Expect some killer tunes along
the style of DJ sets in the club. We have two new tunes we'll
be dropping at the Lost Baggage at The Cross 20 March 2008.

this is my favourite festival of the year cause its free, its
in Newtown, all your friends will be there, its in the day and
it is going to be sunny after a long winter. Bring the dog, kids,
eski, picnic whatever. Its an awesome day to just hang out or
check out music when you feel like it. There is every type of
music you can think of with Sydneys best artists and performers
coming together to play for free. The message of the whole festival
is a collective positive/celebration/party with hundreds of the
same parties being held across the world at the same time. Change
everyones lil world for a day into a positive place for music
and dance - live in the momment and enjoy yo! Below is all the

First
up, to everyone who made it down to Channel Zero on the 26th,
thankyou all for making it one of the absolutely sickest parties
Sydney has ever seen. Everyone involved was so stoked to see such
a turnout - conservative guestimates rated 1000-1500.
The
crews organised it, set up, and provided the big speakers but
it was the punters that made the party. The BUMP system was absolutely
heaving all night and it was hands down one of the best gigs i've
ever played. I couldn't wipe the smile off my face for a week.
To
all the graffers, artists, vj's and dj's that brought their underground
art of pref to the whole thing and to all the punters, dancers,
freaks, legends that went off all night - bless you. The coolest
of vibes. Stay tuned for the next one - we're gunna take it back
to the old school this summer...
